What different SSML teams would want for Christmas!

With Christmas round the corner, it got me thinking, what would different SSML teams want for Christmas. For some teams, it is fairly simple ; but for others, it is more complicated.

Leighton Town - A match

It's been a long time since Leighton Town last played a match of football, the 3rd of December to be precise. Due to snowy conditions and wet weather they have had plenty of games postponed with the most recent being a cup game against New Bradwell St Peter. Their next scheduled match is on the 27th of December against Ardley United so hopefully that match is on.

Dunstable Town - To beat Tring Athletic

This one is slightly strange but understandable. Dunstable have played Tring three times this season and each match, its been feisty. They drew 2-2 the first time, lost 1-0 at the Grassroots Stadium and lost 2-3 in the cup in a topsy-turvy match. Dunstable will be hoping to beat them next time they play them for some bragging rights.

London Colney - A win

It's been a long time since London Colney won a league match. They are bottom of the league at the moment on 5 points from 18 matches. Their only league win of the season came in a fantastic 0-2 away win against Cockfosters - on August 2nd! It's been a while since they've won a match and it would be perfect for them to grab a win against their local rivals Colney Heath two days after Christmas.

Northampton Sileby Rangers - 4 goals a game streak to continue

For the eager eyed fans of SSML Div One you would of noticed that Northampton Sileby Rangers have scored four goals per game for the last four matches. This streak has been a pleasant one for Sileby as they have been easing past teams. They have scored four goals in five of their last six matches and the only one where they did not score four, they conceded four.

Ampthill Town - A home game

Its been a long time since Ampthill Town have had a home game. They have had quite a few away games recently but haven't had a home game since the 19th of November. Its been a while and the Amps will be hoping that their game against Real Bedford is on.

Well, that is just five teams that I have spoken about their Christmas wish. What is your teams Christmas wish?
