Ware FC vs Barton Rovers preview!

Ware face off against Barton Rovers at Wodson Park. Ware are currently 4th and with Berkhamsted and AFC Dunstable playing each other as well it's a big opportunity to sneak up to 3rd. Barton aren't really playing for much. They are safe from relegation and aren't going to get play-offs and sit in 13th.

Barton are looking to get as many points as possible in the run in as they try to climb as high up as possible in the table. Ware have been amazing in 2022 and have had big wins such as a 0-5 win against Colney Heath, 0-5 win against Kempston Rovers, a 5-2 win over Aylesbury United and a 0-2 win against AFC Dunstable. They have proved they are free scoring and are capable of really putting Barton Rovers to the sword. A win could potentially push them to 3rd and almost confirming their spot in the play-offs. Barton won the reverse fixture at Sharpenhoe Road 2-1 and considering Ware were coming off of a 9-1 win against Wantage Town. Barton now look to hold out for the season and see off any opponents that face them. Barton can now focus on playing nice football and more importantly play freely. Barton will be feeling quite hopeful they can take something off of Ware as they could give them a big shock. Ware would feel like if they won they would be on their way to play-offs and would be contenders for promotion. If Barton win they could move up to 12th and go ahead of Didcot Town. Barton are also 22 points away from relegation and are confirmed safe if they avoid defeat.

In conclusion, Ware are the favourites on paper but I would never rule out a Barton win. Barton have shown that they can give a team a shock as they proved the last time they met. Ware need to win to bump AFC Dunstable off of their perch.
