Top 10 best Non-League goals I've seen this season!

It's safe to say that I've seen some cracking games this season but these games have come with some even better goals. I will be going through the top 10 in my opinion that I have seen. These were impossible to judge as they were all class! Just to be clear these are all goals in games that I have been to and this is just entirely my opinion.

10) Devonte Simms vs Ampthill Town

This is a different type of brilliant goal. It wasn't a long range screamer but the control and finish was sublime. There was ten minutes to go between Stotfold and Ampthill and the score was 0-0. There was a great chip over and Devonte Simms was under pressure in the box. He took a touch past the defender and smashed the ball into the roof of the net scoring a vital goal for Stotfold.

9) Jonathan McNamara vs Wellingborough Whitworth

This one was a good one. Shefford Town & Campton were leading Wellingborough Whitworth 4-2 in a tense affair. In the 90th minute Jonathan McNamara burst down the left wing for Shefford on the counter attack. He cut in and got past the defender, he then blasted the ball into the top corner to secure the three points for Shefford Town & Campton. A great goal from a tough angle.

8) Charley Sanders vs Didcot Town

Bedford were dominating Didcot Town but they were only 2-0 up and it should have been much more. Charley Sanders then received the ball on the far right hand side and ran down the wing and got into the box. He was far ahead of all the defence and he then smashed the ball in the bottom corner giving the goalkeeper no chances. This goal was very easy on the eye. It was a goal from out of nowhere.

7) Dan Butler vs Stotfold FC

It was a huge game at the JSJ Stadium as Stotfold hosted Ampthill Town. Around the 80th minute Stotfold took the lead through Devonte Simms and his goal is also 10th in my list. The game had been dominated by Stotfold and they should have wrapped the game up by that point. After this goal it suddenly motivated Ampthill to grab an equaliser. With minutes to go Ampthill were bundling forwards to try and equalise. There was a bit of a scramble in the Stotfold box and they cleared it to Dan Butler on the edge of the box. He took a touch and curled a beautiful effort through loads of bodies and it went in off the post. The technique was amazing and it takes 7th place.

6) Joshua Hedges vs Biggleswade FC

This feels a bit harsh ranking this one in 6th. It was Didcot Town vs Biggleswade FC. It was just after half time and the score was 1-1. The game was wide open and needed a moment of magic to spark the game into life. Joshua Hedges delivered this after a ball over the top which he controlled and then volleyed it in off of the post from at least 20 yards out to restore Didcot's lead. This goal proved to be the winning goal as they won 1-2.

5) Hugh Alban Jones vs Cambridge City

This was a great goal. Bedford were playing Cambridge City and were winning 2-0. Cambridge City were down to 9 men and it was constant pressure from Bedford throughout the game. Hugh Alban Jones had already scored the first for Bedford with a header. He had the ball and just ran forwards and blasted the ball into the bottom corner from 30 yards out to make it 3-0. There was no stopping that and it earns 5th place in my list.

4) Matt Tubbs vs Christchurch FC

This goal was special. Bashley travelled to Christchurch and if they won they would be promoted. They started off strongly but were missing a goal. Then a Bashley player ran down the left wing and put a ball across the box in the air. It bounced as it fell to Matt Tubbs who's perfect volley flew into the bottom corner and in off the post. They wo]ent o to win 0-4. It was a spectacular goal and the way he hit it was brilliant. Unbelievable strike and it earns 4th place.

3) Luke Shaw vs Hitchin Town

The top 3 were impossible to rank so apologies if you think otherwise. This goal was insane. Luke Shaw started off on the by line with the ball. He looked like he was aiming to get a cross in. He didn't and did a step over and got past one Hitchin defender. He was then faced by another two defenders and did a double step over and then got past them before curling the ball in off the post from an impossible angle. This gave Coalville Town the lead. The amount of skill required for this goal was ridiculous and it takes 3rd place but it could have been 1st.

2) Danny Setchell vs Kempston Rovers

I feel very harsh for putting this one in 2nd but again these goals were impossible to judge. It was derby day in Bedford as Kempston Rovers hosted Bedford Town. Bedford were winning 0-1. They needed a second goal to really kill the game off, A corner came in and it was cleared but Bedford kept the ball. It was passed to Danny Setchell in the edge of the box and he let rip and his thunderbolt found the top corner and left the goalkeeper with no chance. A brilliant goal from a long way out which was very satisfying to watch. It takes a respectable 2nd place but it so easily could have been 1st.

1) Jude White vs London Colney

The one you have been waiting for and it was truly amazing. Baldock Town hosted London Colney in a big game. Baldock Town sat bottom of the league needing a win to push away from bottom and catch up with the pack. Baldock started well and went 1-0 up thanks to Ashley Hay. They were playing the ball in the final third. The ball was then flicked up into the air a little bit and inviting Jude White to hit it. He absolutely leathered it into the top corner and he hit it so hard it hit the crossbar twice. A phenomenal goal that I will never forget and definitely worthy of 1st place.
