We are back with another team focus and this week our focus is on Barnet. I have selected Barnet as a celebration of the fact I will be visiting them for their game against Solihull Moors. It will be my first at the Hive Stadium and I am quite literally 'buzzing'.
Barnet have taken a turn in form lately, a emphatic 6-0 win over Dover Athletic and a great derby day win against Boreham Wood which they won 1-0. They did then lose to Woking but will be feeling confident. They have three games between now and their game against Solihull Moors. They travel to Maidenhead United, they host Yeovil Town and they travel to Wrexham. These games could prove to be crucial in Barnet's spot in the table between now and then as it is incredibly tight from 13th to 20th. The bees have shown this season that they grind out important wins but they are very leaky at the back. Barnet are currently 17th and interestingly have the 17th best home form and away form in the league. Barnet have mainly beaten teams in the relegation battle this season but did have a famous 1-2 away win over Stockport County back in October. Ephron Mason Clark has hit some form lately and look's like he could play a big role in their season run-in. They have won big games this season against Weymouth, Dover Athletic, Stockport County, Aldershot Town, Torquay United, Woking, Maidenhead United, Aldershot again, Dover again and Boreham Wood.
Well Solihull Moors have been great lately but Barnet will be feeling confident that they can give the Moors a scare. I am really looking forwards to the game and I'll hopefully see you there!
