Aylesbury Vale Dynamos have had a solid season. They play in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division and were founded in 1930. The Dynamos currently sit 11th in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division and are looking strong for survival and are potentially capable of a late play-off push despite late poor form. Their top scorer so far this season is Callum Shortt with 10 goals.
They started the season away at Holmer Green and drew 3-3 in a thrilling draw which saw a red card and two last minute goals to snatch a point. Then followed a 4-1 win and loss in their next two losing 1-4 to Leverstock Green and beating Crawley Green 4-1. They have been very up and down losing away to Harpenden Town, Risborough Rangers and London Colney. They then won at the Greenfleets Stadium and they won 3-1 against London Tigers in the cup and won their next home game but this time a 3-2 win over Milton Keynes Irish in the league. They then won 0-5 away at Broadfields United thanks to goals from Jake Baldwin scoring a hat-trick and Callum Shortt grabbing 2. Typically, this then followed with a 0-6 home loss to New Salamis to continue this up and down form. They won 0-2 away at Dunstable Town and then lost 1-0 away at Arlesey Town. They drew 2-2 with Harefield and then had three home games in a row. They lost to Baldock Town and Flackwell Heath. They did win local derby against Tring Athletic though winning 2-1. Two strong away wins followed when they won 1-2 away at Crawley Green and then an amazing game where they won 4-5 against Oxhey Jets. There was then an emphatic 8-1 home win against Holmer Green where 6/11 starting players scored. They then went on a great run of form until the start of Februaury. They beat teams like Milton Keynes Irish and Leverstock Green. They lost to Baldock Town. They have been on a dodgier run lately and aren't looking at all threatened by relegation.
I personally believe that Aylesbury Vale Dynamos are a strong standard club and on their way forwards. I believe that they have got a strong fanbase and a rising team that are on a upward trajectory. I wish them all the best this season!
