Mid Table clash between Dagenham & Redbridge and Maidenhead. Maidenhead started the day in 15th on 34 points and 9 away from their opponents. Dagenham sat 11th and 12 points off of the play offs. Dagenham have recently suspended player Yoan Zouma after videos emerged of him filming his brother Kurt kicking a cat.
Dagenham started on top with a few chances coming and going. It only took ten minutes for Dagenham to take the lead and Junior Morias who scored from a few yards out following a rebounded shot from Dean Rance. They should have got a second after Brandom Comley played the ball when he should have shot and then the defender closed him down to avoid the shot. On the brink of half time the Daggers went 2-0 up after Paul McCallum scored a neat header from very close in to double their lead just before half time. It was no longer than a minute before they scored a third and it was that man Paul McCallum again who scored from close range after a great free kick hit the post and bounced out to Paul McCallum who tapped it in to give them a comfortable 3-0 lead. The second half was quieter but the Daggers remained on top and never looked like going bottling the lead. There were some strong chances but nothing else happened in the first half and the Daggers marched on to the three points,
Dagenham & Redbridge moved up to 10th after a nice 3-0 win to reverse their 3-0 loss to Altrincham on their last time out. They now are 9 points off of play-offs with Notts County losing too to help things. Maidenhead United stayed 15th but are 3 points of 20th. They look in no danger of relegation.
