Kidderminster kill off Boston - Kidderminster Harriers 3-1 Boston United

Kidderminster have been fantastic at Aggborough this season only losing 2. They faced play-off contenders Boston United at home. Boston have been going strong lately but have dropped off a bit lately. Kiddersminster have been superb and haven't lost a league game in 7. Boston beat Kiddy 4-1 in the FA Trophy earlier this season so some history going into the game.

Harriers started on top having some chances come and go but didn't convert any. A goal went in around the 27th minute and it was for the home side. Ashley Hemmings grabbed the goal for Kiddy after a great team move went to Alex Penny who zipped it across to box to Ashley Hemmings who put the ball in the bottom corner. The half finished 1-0 to Kiddy. After lots of pressure from Kidderminster it was only a matter of time before another goal. It was two when Sam Austin who after some twists and turns in the box he finished superbly to give Kiddy a deserved 2-0 lead. Kiddy were in cruise control but Boston snatched a goal back against the run of play and it was Danny Elliott who got on the rebound after a great save from the Kiddy goalkeeper to spice things up and make it 2-1. Amari Morgan Smith settled things 5 minutes later with a great header to confirm 3 points against spirited Boston United.

Kidderminster remain in 3rd but and are 7 points off of Gateshead at the top. They pulled away from AFC Fylde and they are now 9 points ahead of Fylde and 11 ahead of Chorley. Boston drop down to 10th and are now 4 points adrift of the play-off places and look comfortable in the middles of the table.
